I was reading though one of the manuals online. One of the features I thought was very interesting was that when you pick up the phone off of a table while it's ringing, it will silence the ringer (knowing that the phone got your attention). Is this an "Incredible only" feature or has this been with other HTC phones? Also has anyone else come across any other features like this which is ONLY out on the Incredible?

I have that feature on my Eris with the 2.1 v2 leak.

I would turn it off though because frankly... while you are walking you'll miss calls.

I would hope they would have addressed that, if so there is evidence for not using leaked roms.

That has been a part of Sense for a while now — the HTC Touch HD had it first, I believe.

I thought it only reduced the ringer if you picked it up off of a level surface. It won't be level in your pocket while walking, so this shouldn't be an issue.

Correct, I recall it as you can silence the ringer by placing the phone face down on a level surface, and reduce the volume of the ringer when you pick it up (not sure if this second one gets triggered by movement such as walking?).

Samsung has also been using these features. (Omnia)

Any idea how to turn this off? I kind of want to get calls even though I'm walking somewhere.
