Help Indexservice 2.0 battery drain

Please help! I have tried fixing this by removing micro sd card. Didn't work, still running index service constantly. Any ideas before I wipe the phone. If this has been answered sorry, the forum looks quite different since the last time I posted.
Note 4 Tmobile not rooted

Indexing runs continuously when it finds a bad file, usually. Try removing all photos and more importantly music and see if it continues. If you have any documents or other files, remove them as well. If it stops, start replacing them a few at a time until the indexing starts back up and won't stop. There is your bad file.
