I just purchased an E-pad by Google. It was advertised as 3G. I assume that means I have to purchase a compatible modem. Can anyone give me some information, are there different 3G modems or would any one work? Thanks:thinking:

    Welcome to the Android Forums!

The ePad is actually not a Google product... it's a knockoff tablet manufactured in Chinese and uses the Google Android operating system. If the company you purchased the tablet from specifically told you it was a Google product then they may have mis-represented it.

The ePad is equivalent to the ZT-180 tablet... which does support some 3G modems. I have no specific personal experience with this tablet but I believe that it's support is limited to only a few 3G modems, most of which are used in the Chinese market.
