Help Infuse Battery Life - Rooted

Just got an Infuse a week ago from Amazon. Very disappointed in battery life. I recently rooted it and added Infuse v.1.5.3, but the battery life was bad before then. I am using Juicedefender and have automatic app syncs stopped. I set the phone down and the battery drops noticeably without even touching it. Mobile data is turned off when the screen is locked. I only have 1 widget that pushes updates and it is a simple clock widget. I'm considering returning the phone, but I love it other than the battery life.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
