initial battery conditioning?

    I've seen both views expressed on this issue in other threads, and I was wondering what some people though about battery conditioning the droid x. I'm getting mine today or tomorrow and want to know what to do right out of the box to maximize my battery.

    It's my understanding that it's really not necessary to condition (break-in) new lithium ion batteries. As such you really don't have to do a lot. With these phones, however, it's believed that you can improve the batteries charge by charging it fully with the phone on, turning the phone off, and then charging it some more. Personally I'm not sure how much improvement this would provide...
