    Hello all,
I have been having issues with Instagram over probably the past four months (at least). Every time I go through my Instagram feed, particularly over a video, my phone completely freezes and I have to restart it. (I'm using the original Sony Xperia Z). I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, cleared the cache and so on, and the problem still occurs. I've read through some other forums and never really got a single defined answer as to how this problem can be fixed. Is anyone else having this problem? Could it be a problem with my phone or would it be a problem with the app itself?
    Thanks

Do a Wipe Cache Part ion. It only kills temporary files. If can become fragmented over time and cause all manner of problems.

I Wipe Cache Partition on my Turbo 2 every Saturday.

I mean how much to that ram does your device have. 1gb, 1.5gb? Less?

Well, then ram shouldn't be an issue.

Just tried out a few different versions. They seemed to be working at first but each would still end up freezing after a bit of scrolling

Does your camera ever freeze when taking regular pictures?

What Android version is your phone on?

My camera works fine by itself, and the version is 4.3 and my phone says that's the newest version although I know it isn't

That's what I though, it also says that on Sony's website but the update center is saying it's up to date already

    Is your phone rooted?

Seems strange you aren't getting any update notifications.
