Install CM7

Last time I tried to install CM7 I managed to wipe my EMIE number. So this time I would like to do it again with some hand holding.

I've got:
Rooted Samsung Galaxy S2
Model No. GT-I9100
Android Version: 2.3.4
Baseband Version: I9100XXKI1
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7-I9100XWKI4-CL575468root@DELL143 #2
Build No. GINGERBREAD.XWKI4

Anyone want to help a guy out?

The trick to it for me was to do it twice. Did first install, rebooted got stuck at boot screen so went back into recovery and installed again over the top, reboot wait 5 mins or so as first boot takes longer then it booted ok and should see CM logo.

Sorry for the late reply. Been busy.

Thanks for the link. I'm stuck on step 6 of installing Clockwork Mod Recovery:

On the computer, open terminal and run the following command from the Heimdall directory: heimdall flash --kernel zImage

I have no idea what I have to do.

can this guide help me install bezke ICS rom as well? or any custom rom in particular?
