Install Recovery Over ADB Due To Boot Loop

Hi,

I have a generic Chinese tablet, I believe it is an Allwinner. It worked fine for quite some time and now it just loads as far as the last ANDROID logo and is just stuck there with the logo shimmering away as it normally would before it starts.

It is not possible to start in recovery mode, and it is one of those tablets that when it starts in "download" mode it gives no indication, just a blank screen but the computer recognises it as you can see it in device manager.

I can issue commands to it using adb shell, but if I issue the command to restart in recovery mode or bootloader it just starts as normal and gets stuck at the android logo.

What I want to know here is if I can install a recovery system using adb, or maybe even flash a ROM using ADB.

Could anyone please make a suggestion as to what I can do? I have searched here on the forums before asking but to no avail.

This is what "busybox top" reports:

So the tablet is actually running, how can I get it to get past the Android logo??
