I have an LG VS980 from Verizon running Android 5.0.2. My work implemented a content filtering device that requires me to install a certificate. When I try to download the certificate using Chrome I get the download was unsuccessful. It will not download the SSL. I've tried clearing data, caches, etc. I've reset Chrome with all having the same result. I finally downloaded the Firefox app from the play store on the phone and had no issue installing the certificate. Why will the certificate not install using Chrome? I'm sure the SSL is for Firefox and not chrome as they generally use different SSL's if I'm not mistaken. Any advice?
