    Hi,
I've rooted and flashed CyanogenMod 6.0 onto my Droid. I went slow; it took me a while and lots of careful reading on this forum.

    Thanks to all of you!

I used ROM Manager to flash and I'd like to continue using it to install themes. Is that a good idea?

Is it always necessary (or recommended) to wipe all when flashing new themes?

    Thanks

No need to wipe when flashing a theme. While there are some themes on rom manager, I just think it's easier to download them from the forums and flash them. The best place to start to looking for themes is the cyanogenmod forums in the motorola droid theme section.

I'm trying to install a different battery icon via metamorph, should it be taking 15 minutes for it to do so?

It does take a little time to change anything in frameworkres but certainly not that long. I'm curious as to what battery icon you're trying to change it to. Maybe I could be of more help.

I just checked the download and it all seemed fine to me. Quick question, did you extract the zip file with metamorph or did you use something like astro file manager to extract it. I find using metamorph to extract themes is definitely a bit buggy sometimes. Try using astro to move the zip to your android themes folder and extract it with astro. Fire up metamorph and try again and see where that gets you.

Thanks for that. I was trying to go directly through Metamorph, so I'll try the Astro route. Quick question on that, where is the android themes folder?

No problem. Its a folder on your SD card labeled "AndroidThemes".
