    Hello all,

I am sorry if I sound naive (just moved from ios). Does it matter how much internal memory the phone has (specially when side loading is not allowed)? I was comparing this to Atrix which has about 16GB of on phone memory. Will there be any limitation on no. of apps I can download?
Please go ahead and explain it to me like I am an idiot.

    Thanks.

  2. Android uses memory differently and app size is much smaller

There's 4gb of internal memory, but I believe 3gb of that is being used by the OS.

The good thing about version 2.2 of the OS is that there are certain apps you can install to the SD card, which means less on the internal memory.

My biggest apps are Dolphin at about 10mb and Slacker at 11mb. Otherwise, a lot of my apps are 2mb. So, you'll need a lot of apps to fill up that 1gb even if you don't use the option to install to an SD card.
