the droid inc has 8 gb of internal storage and the evo will come with a 8gb card.

    Intern w/ UTeach
    Austin, TX.
Internal, generally. Shouldn't make too much of a difference, however.

Well right now Android can't really take advantage of the internal storage because most apps can't access it. As far as if they could, I would image that any internal storage they use is at least on par with a class 6 micro sd card(most likely better).

Apps have to be programmed to access internal storage with the current build of Android. Since only the Incredible uses internal, almost no apps are made to use it so you need an micro SD to use them. Music/Movies and such work fine on the internal as far as I know.

The Droid Inc has both and the EVO will too.

For performance internal is generally faster but has it's downside since it's a fixed size. External maybe slightly slower but is upgradable to 32gb and swappable which means you can have multiple cards. If I had to pick just one type I'd go external all the way. But from whats been said it will have both we'll see.
