Hi, this is my first question on the forums so I'm sorry if this is a common question.

My phone (Sony Xperia XZ) is telling me that the internal storage is almost full, and though I have lots of apps, I think i have moved all the ones I can to the SD card.
I read about the app Storage Truth, and it tells me that 4.48/5.50GB is used on /system, and 21.23/21.74GB is used on /data/media
but when i try to look into the file on both a file manager app and on my laptop, all i can find under /data is (embarrassingly) a file for okcupid
how can I find what is eating up so much of my storage, and clear it up?

P.S. I'd rather not root my pone if i can avoid it.

Great app, thanks for the suggestion!
it looks like 16GB is being used up by apps, with 6GB in backup and the rest used by all other apps (chrome being the biggest culprit). also, it looks like most of the space taken up by each app is from the APK file.

is this something that is inevitable even though I moved all my apps to the SD card?
