OK folks just a couple questions regarding the CWR easy fix.

    1) If I do not rename the recovery-from-boot.p file to
recovery-from-boot.bak to make CWR stick will I be able to get updates that come down from google?

    2) If so, will these updates that I receive break my root status?

You will need to be back on the stock recovery to have a update that doesn't fail.

If an OTA update is pushed on your phone with everything I have seen you will lose root status, to get it back you just need to softboot CWM and flash superuser again.

Okay so if I am back on stock recovery, when an ota update comes it will break my root. Correct?

Yes it would break root if you accept an OTA, but it should be easy to get it back
