I have my phone pretty much like I want it for now. I have Fab's rom with a black theme. I have inverted Gmail, contacts, dialer and messaging. The only thing I would like to modify now is the pull down screen where it says Verizon Wireless. (I am aware there is a Verizon thread but did not think this was specific to LTE) I am pretty sure I did it on my old school droid. Does anyone know if or how this can be acheived?

You should be able to use the tutorial here to do so Editing Droid Verizon Banner | DHO

I am currently looking for an easier solution, I have seen reports that you can do it with jrummy's root tools from the market but can't confirm it works.

Just tried changing it with "Root Tools" and it went away for about 30 seconds after reboot and is now back to saying "Verizon Wireless"

It should if it works. I've seen mixed reports. Sorry for the late reply :D

Yeah I've seen reports that root tools works for some and doesn't for others.

The easiest way to change it now is by using a rom that has the feature built in. I've seen a few roms with this function now ;)

I tried Root Tools and booted up and my software keys were gone haha...so yeah that didn't work for me though I emailed JRummy and he said he's working on it. I'm running codename android which has an option built in. Highly HIGHLY recommended by the way
