    1) I have to reflash clockwork recovery everytime before rebooting into recovery. How do I get it to 'stick'?

    2) I do something and get a 'back menu button disabled' message and the power button goes back a menu rather than selecting. I think I'm accidentally hitting power and volume at the same time to do this, but how do I turn it off?

    Flashed custom recovery won't "stick"?

    Do this:

    - remount /system in read/write mode (use something like the Root Explorer app or ES File Explorer; both have root modes (check the app's settings) for remounting /system as writable)

    - rename the /system/recovery-from-boot.p to /system/recovery-from-boot.p-bak

(note: you could delete it, but renaming is much safer since its easily reversible)

    - you could also do this manually in an adb shell or on-phone Terminal session:

    + mv /system/recovery-from-boot.p /system/recovery-from-boot.p-bak

    2) Not sure about...

I get the same issue sometimes on number 2. I think it's something to do with the "sd card" as I can't load a ROM when it does that. I have to wait till it's "enabled" again.

I have had this happen over and over as well. Just noticed the other day that if I hit power and volume at the same time again, I get a "back menu button enabled" message. In other words, you can toggle it back to enabled the same way you disabled it...

Worth a try imo - and it's certainly better than a battery pull... :)

#2 can be resolved by pressing volume up and down at the same time, it doesn't work everytime but it will eventually get back to normal, no need to pull battery. Others have pressed up then down over and over to get it working again.
