with roms that support init.d scripts
i dont see why you would want to though, loads of room on these devices
you may want to move it because modern android games have a huge payload on the internal SD but for now even if you moved to sdcard that payload would remain in the same place

Oh,I wasn't planning on installing a custom rom, just rooting, so I guess that won't work then :-(

Cool. Just make sure you read post 1 carefully. There is a section if mounts are lost on reboot, enable alternative dbase method. I think ALL s3 users have had to do this.

I was gonna do it manually with the bind command but terminal emulator didn't recognise it.

Didnt want to have to add yet another requirement to flash after flashing a rom so decided to test teh app and it works great, once teh dbase method is envoked.

once transfered can i delete the ones in the target directory?

threw me at first as his wording is confusing
in normal circumstances target is the new destination and source is the original location.
it seems its the opposite for this app

    Yes the wording is poor.

Once its moved its no longer on /sdcard. The /sdcard folder is pointing to /extSdCard. Deleting them will actually delete all that data completely.

If you check in the storage menu from android settings, you'll see SDcard space has increased

    hmm, it didnt reduce it
we are on about the files that are in sdcard/android/data right?

    EDIT: reboot fixed it

EDIT2: hmm i used alternat dbase mgmt and its still lost the bind, i cannot see it in the menu :/

    sorry the app.
    it lost my bind
im guessing recreating it will be enough and it hasnt broken the links
i did what you said with the option in the menu.
seems for some people it loses the bind anyway.
might move it back as i dont trust that behaviour

You can just recreate the bind yeah.

You can then backup the database and restoring it on boot will recreate all the binds.

The alternative dbase method works fine for me. I'm not sure I trust everyone who says that doesn't work, but if you have teh issue I'll trust you,

Maybe you're all on that Omega crap ;)

maybe but its just bloated stock with siyah kernel and some ui tweeks. its nothing special

I've seen a few people in various threads on XDA saying some things don't work on Omega. Generally trivial stuff.
