Newest Omni version has an Advanced Settings app. Finally we can disable backlight without relying on third party solutions!

Have no idea regarding that, they probably will at some point.

Pretty sure they will man. Problem might be CM themes not being compatible though so we'll have to wait on the theme Devs

Update: It's weird, I did a reboot and the problem seems to be resolved for some reason!!!

I'm on Omni nightly version omni 2014-01-05 with kernel version 3.0.64-cm-g8cd3155. Has any one of you guys had this issue: When playing music as the device goes to lock screen, music becomes noisy and it lags. Very annoying.

What governor are you using? If zzmove, then increase the minimum clock speed to 300Mhz, else switch to Pegasusq.

I agree, sounds like your setup isn't aggressive enough
