Root [International] [Q] Strange issue involving HBOOT menu.

First of all I just want to say I have NO experience using any form of forums. I really have no clue what I'm doing, I just hope its right, also I have no idea about ROMs, BOOTLOADER, FLASHING or ADB. I'm posting here as I have scoured the internet for help to no avail. I hope you understand if I have done anything wrong.

My phone started acting strange, in the form of the volume turning up/down by itself and despite every effort I could not turn it down/up. Thinking it could just be playing up I turned the phone off and tried to power it back up hoping this would resolve it, I was wrong; I was greeted with, what I assume to be, the HBOOT menu. I could not however navigate it. After many times of restarting it I came across 2 different reactions. One reaction was that of what just described, I could not navigate it or even press the power button to continue with the already selected option (FastBoot). The other reaction would be that the volume up button would navigate the menu, however, the power would also just navigate the menu, it would move through the options as if I was just using the volume up button.

Again I apoligize If I have done anything I shouldnt of.

Not here. You might have done something wrong to your phone. like dropped it or gotten it wet. Or it may just be getting old and tired and getting ready to die.

Try holding the power button until the softkey lights start flashing,and the phone reboots. This is causing the phone to do a hard reset,much like pulling the battery back in the good ol' days of removable batteries.

Hopefully the phone will boot to the OS rather than hboot. If not,you may have some physical issues as mentioned above
