Root [International] Rooted galaxy s4 update issue

Hey guys, first timer here. I bought my galaxy s4 a few days ago, and I rooted it straight away because I want titanium backup. However after root the auto update check no longer works. So I am just wondering how can I update my phone in the future when newer version of TOUCHWIZ is avaliable? Much thanks

Generally, OTA updates and root are a bad combo. At the very least, the OTA will break root.

I've moved your post to the SGS4 Root forum though, the guys here should be able to sort you out.

Updating mine after rooting is as simple as downloading updates from sammobile when an update is available, flashing it to the phone with odin. Then, re-rooting and putting philz recovery back. There are several guides I've found here already with the steps.
