Root [International] s4 on gci

does anyone know if its possible to run a custom rom on my home network of gci. i do already have a rooted phone from them. when i take my sim card out i can put it straight into a att phone and it does work so i was thinking i might be able to put a att rom on my phone.

Sounds like you have one of the U.S. minority variants of the Galaxy S4 d4rk13l4de. Therefore I've asked the Mods to move your post to the All Things Root forum for Sprint.

Never heard of GCI, so a little Googling finds it's a small Alaskan telcom who uses AT&T towers. :)

OP, I think you're *likely* going to be okay. If you're getting service before adding a custom ROM, as long as you have a backup handy you can try flashing one. I just wouldn't go messing with basebands or radios. ;)
 
i too have GCI and am wondering if i can put stock android on my phone

one thing is the GCI uses the I337M instead of just I337 and i was wondering if they are compatible
