    Hi All.

I am new to Android and wanted to apply a custom ROM (Omega V9.0) to my 9505 Galaxy S4.

I rooted the device and then followed the dummies guide on this site, installing TWRP and then copying the ROM to the external SD Card.

I followed everything to the letter in the dummies guide and wiped the caches, installed the new ROM, including going through the Custom Options it requests.

Everything appeared to go well until reboot. ON Reboot I am now stuck with the Samsung Logo and nothing happens.

Can anyone help please? I have tried wiping the caches again and re-flashing but nothing.

Do I have to go back to a STOCK ROM, if so how do I do that please? What are my other recovery options?

I have also checked the ROM version and it is correct for the version of S4.

Any help for a new user would be greatly appreciated.

    Many Thanks in advance.

How long have you been leaving it to boot? Often it will take a fair while for the first boot after a flash. Otherwise, it can often be helpful to have a stock Rom flashed prior to installation(stock on the same firmware,v9 is mga!)

if your still having trouble, you could do a full wipe and flash over Odin djembeys stock Rom from here:
