Kind of surprised at the drop off in battery life on AOSP vs TW. On S3 I like applying some mild kernel performance tweaks but am slightly disappointed with the drop off in battery compared with a TW ROM. At this rate I might revert to a TW 4.3 ROM or even go back to 4.1.2!

Im getting the same kind of battery life on NeatRom aosp with the default kernel, no tweaks as i was gettin on tw. Always over 4h screen time yet its really snappy and smooth

Now trying out Kryten's Ultima on 4.3, he's really stripped it down a lot hardly any Sammy stuff left apart from the good stuff (smart screen, camera, multi-window). Going to give it a few days to see if battery life improves over Validus.
