Help internet is very slow

hai im murukesh from raipur,india.my lg gt540 internet is very slow.i will contact sim operator he will send new gprs settings.i installed this settings and clear the browser cache and history.but internet is very slow internet speed is 1kb/s.I will remove the sim and put in other phone (lg kp500) and use internet this phone speed is 8kb/s pls tell a answer.thank u
