is there an app that monitors what's using the internet? I have switched everything that uses it but 3g watchdog still registers some activity. I have very little data per month and I want to use it efficiently. I even got task killer but no luck. should I remove my email settings? I have switched off sync and even updates

How much is it registering? You will get activity when switching between G, E, 3G and H... you will often see the upload / download arrows registering activity. I would expect it to poll the data network from time to time.

Hmm that could be quite a lot. 260MB (ish) on a 28 day month if it remains consistant at every few minutes. No good on Vodafone...

I'm sorry I don't know the answer to your question though.

Is your email set to manual?

    Could it be Gmail?
