Help Internet sharing through WIFI

I have bought galaxy mini recently. I use EDGE or Ethernet internet connection in my laptop which run on windows & want to browse internet in my mobile via WIFI by sharing my laptop's internet connection. Galaxy mini isn't being connected by Adhoc connection. I installed Connectify Hotspot software. After this, wifi channel is showing connected. But i couldn't do surfing in my mobile. But i did all procedure- sharing internet network adaptor, setting both way, static IP or automatic IP in my phone, setting

i tried both virtual router and connectify..but both didnt work welll.. they dont even detect my wirless connection.. i dont know why.. but lastly i found a software which requirs no manual setting.. see www.bzeek.com but its free for one week.. let we see what happens after that.. but now its very useful for me..

I too tried this on a vista laptop but couldn't get it. I know this is a problem of the laptop and not the phone because the same android runs on millions of devices.

Somebody told to enable Internet Connection sharing on the primary network of the laptop. But still couldn't get the access point on my phone
