hi i'm rain. odd name i know plus ive heard all the jokes as well...but i'd like to hear some creativity now. lol
anyways i'm new to this site and i'm joining from the frustration of downgrading my dhd build 2.50.450.2 in order to root . trust me ive tried everything and it either doesnt work or gets stuck .so i'm gonna look for the right thread and complain lots more.

hopefully those geniuses can help.

Yeah, your best bet would be in the Desire HD threads here (Desire HD - All Things Root - Android Forums) or over at XDA (Desire HD Q&A - xda-developers)...there's often a good overlap of folks that are member of both sites.
