Invisible Shield for $0.97

I went to my local RadioShack today. While I was browsing around I noticed that the Droid X2 Invisible Shield was on Clearance for $0.97. As it turns out the Droid X2 glass is just about the same size as the Spectrum's screen so I purchased the protector and applied it. After application, there is about a 1/16" border around the screen and my Spectrum is safe from scratches! The Spectrum's entire glass face isn't covered but the screen is really what matters in the end.

Thanks RadioShack!

Are the camera and sensor holes in the same spots? Remember we have a front facing camera and the Droids don't. A dx protector may block that camera.

I went with ghost armor and have few complaints other than the reduced screen quality for hd images/shows/movies. It's rubberized so it literally never keeps grease smudges.

The DX2 shield fits around the touchscreen only with 1/16 of an inch border, not the entire glass face. The 3 buttons at the bottom and the camera/light sensor aren't covered.

The correct one has cut outs for the camera, light sensor, and earphone speaker. It does go all the way down over the touch buttons, which really see just as much use as the display. Thumbs up on a super cheap alternative! However to for me the $20 was well worth the correct one with the full face coverage.

I walked into the Shack here today to see these. They did not have them, but did have two other phone shields for .97....but neither was even close in shape or size, One was a Blackberry, the other something else. But Marshall's does have iPad screen protectors for $2.99. If you're handy with scissors or an Exacto blade, you can make two or three Spectrum protectors out of one iPad protector.

My spectrum came with an LG logo'd screen protector on it. Very nice one too, but grease sticks to it life crazy and can be hard to get off. The LG logo is just above the home button.

This is my third handset, and the only one that had the "stock screen protector"
Deus, I normally only use one for the life of the phone, I have not ever had to replace one in less than 20 months, although one time while changing it in my Evo (during launch I bought an accessory pack an the screen protectors were the kind you have to cut to fit) I went through three in an hour...
