I find that Android ver 4.2.1 as I'm running on my Nexus 7 is simply ideal. Fast, smooth, with nearly every annoyance of prior versions resolved, I cannot say enough good things about the N7 tablet.
As compared to my iPad mini, the Nexus outshines it in every aspect. And this is from a guy that's been using Apple gear for two decades. I'm not an Apple fanboy, nor am I married to any platform. My Nexus 4 is the most impressive smartphone I've owned to date. Just like my N7 this phone is very smooth, fast, and ideal for my usage.
