New Video of iPhone 3G Running Froyo
Blimey that's slow!
I realize that the OS us not at all optimized for the iphone hardware, but this makes me wonder how well exactly will the 3g handle official multi tasking.
Sir, calling that slow is giving anything slow a bad name.
That is slower than slow... like frozen syrup flowing up hill...
This should be in the lounge, so I'll go ahead and move it for you.
too slow to be usable.
Dear god, that makes my Eris look fast! And its not even running Vanilla! Still, interesting proof of concept.
I just bought a used 1st Generation Iphone off Ebay for $96. I plan on jailbreaking it and putting Android on it. I hope Froyo comes out to the 1st Gen as well
If it's anything like that video, stick with iOS.
more proof that the iphone is not powerful it cant even run Linux kernel based android lol
I wish he would have picked some better music to listen to while watching that video.
3G won't be able to officially multitask. That's restricted to the 3Gs and iPhone 4.
Shoot, I'm jailbreaking and hopefully can multitask on the 2g iphone. Have no clue how well it will work though
You mean like frozen yogurt flowing up hill right?
It was so slow I'm sure it lagged my browser as well.
I think I saw a snail cross some ice faster this past Winter.
Err, good luck with that. 128 MB of RAM is not a lot of room to work with for multitasking....
