I am the owner of an Lg Esteem but was looking into buying an Iphone 4 from my friend, he recently stopped his contract about 3 months early so will this produc have a bad ESN? and if so can I activate this by any chance with Metropcs? I read all different articles saying I can and others that said I can't so i'm not sure which way go to go and don't want to get it then just be stuck with it, I also read that some people got then hooked up but then no web, is there any way I can achieve web service on it?

It'll have a bad esn if he just quit paying and owes money. If he terminated the contract and paid the fees and dues and all that you should be good

I phone is pretty nice. If only it had a bigger screen. Not worth it if your gonna get it on metro though.

Iphone is almost obsolete now with what Android is doing to the market. Trying to play the market and make money is going to hurt them because while they put out a phone every 3 years Android is just getting better and better. F and Iphone. Garbage hipster shit that's tighter than a virgin on prom night.

You can flash just about any Verizon phone to Metro. Whether all the features works or depends on who and how well the person flashing the phone did the flash. Or so I've seen.

if you're looking to flash a iphone somewhere you should look at "straighttalk" that has a $45 unlimited everything plan. iphones are not 4g capable and metro's 3g isnt very good and they're are no plans to expand it.

Flashing a phone over from one carrier to another carrier without express permission and/or assistance from the carriers is illegal. The only legal method would be to call (or walk into) Metro PCS and ask them if they will do this. Any other method is illegal and we do not condone such conversations here on Android Forums.

I am going to lock this topic as I do not see how it can continue and not violate the rules of the forum. If anyone disagrees with this decision, please feel free to PM me and we can discuss opening it, again.

    Thank you for your cooperation.
