After hearing some people saying that they improved their battery life after a hard reset I am wondering if it is worth the hassle of doing it since it erases all the DATA and you have to take it from scratch to customize your EVO again.

Feel free to post your comments along with your vote. thanks

Its a cake walk. You do have to set everything up again but SD card stays Put.

    Try it :)

Restores the phone to factory default settings as to when you first pulled it out of the box and turned it on for the very first time.

Thanks. What if it's rooted. Still brings it back to factory?

No you will need to unroot if you want to bring it all the way back to stock.

Will see my phone went berserk last nite and today with random rebooting I think after the latest PRL update. I just did the hard reset here is how to do it.

From the phone pad dial ##786#

wait then hit the menu key then hit reset on the bottom when it asks you for a password type in 535639 then touch OK Reset will start. No need to remove SD card.
