I've searched and have not been able to find anything about this. Is it possible to block a certain phone number from appearing on your call usage list on my verizon account?

Welcome. You will need to contact Verizon and see if that's possible. This is a carrier issue and not an Android issue.

Either you're a kid and can't let your parents know who you're calling...or you don't want your girlfriend/boyfriend to know who you're calling.

    Which is it? :)

    You forgot girlfriend/boyfriend/wife/husband.... ;)

Anyway, I think there's a federal law requiring phone companies to keep records of all incoming and outgoing phone calls, dates and times, length of call, etc. and they must keep those records for a consideral amount of time. You see phone records come up in court cases quite often showing who, when, where, and for how long.

Find, (if you can) a pay phone and use that. ;)

    Good luck,

    Herman Cain, is that you?

(sorry low blow, but it was low-hanging fruit. One hates to let it rot on the tree).

Google Voice may be your friend, here. At least you can reliably obfuscate your outgoing #.

Or I guess one of the many Google Voice applications that let you dial over data.

I believe you can dial over data, but not talk over data on Google Voice. It's not VOIP.

Just an example of an app that can turn Google Voice to VOIP. I used it a couple of times while overseas.
