Is anyone here using Avia?

So far casting my own music to the chromecast via the Avia app works great, and so does photos. I'm trying to cast from a laptop using the network, though. I set the folder to share across the network but it's not showing up. Am I using a step?

I've found it works great for casting music from my phone, but hit and miss with videos. All are MP4 format, but some only play the audio, no video. The app needs work. There should be a way to set playlists, and as a gallery it is beyond basic. This functionality should be built in anyway, they shouldn't force you to buy an app. Google could have at least partnered with Quickpic instead of this generic thing. But it's better than nothing.
