So is unlimited data still available?
I thought if you had unlimited data you could keep it if you wanted it.

I'm wondering because I just got the SIII on Saturday and they said it is not an option to keep it.

    Should I call and complain?

You have to buy the phone at full retail to keep unlimited. If you upgrade you lose it.

Are you paying full price for the phone? I'm going to guess if your signing a new contract to get the subsidy they will not offer or grandfather you in, if you buy the phone at full price though then they won't change your plan. That is my guess but its been forever since I've been on a post paid service.

Not true. You do have to call and complain loudly to ATT customer service, but they will give it back to you. I had to do this with both my phone and my wife's phone when we upgraded them both to S3's. We paid the subsidized price of $129 on each one.
