Is Hibernate best App for Battery Saving?

I install Hibernate App in my mobile i want to know if it's best app for battery saving

It seems a little drastic if you ask me. Honestly, most battery saving apps don't save that much power to be worth it without disabling a lot of features on your phone, at which point, you might as well not have a smart phone.


My first question is why do you think you need a battery saver app in the first place? (and what kind of phone are we talking about?)
