Is it me or the eris is the nicest looking android phone for verizon?

I find the design of the Eris very appealing however I would like it to be slightly larger. It is very petite. I would like to have a larger screen. I would also like it to be faster. Give it a snapdragon processor, 10x the ram, and 32Gb of storage...

I know, the incredible, but all in the exact shape of the eris.

Eris is definitiely one of the better looking phones out there under the HTC brand. It's the perfect size and whatever they make the phone out of looks and feels nice. Sure, it's weaker than the newer phones out right now but that's a given because it's older.

The new Droid X is just so big its ugly. It's like they turned a GPS navigator into a phone.

I personally really like the Ally. It's kinda big, but I like how it's pretty much the best Android phone with a keyboard out there. The Droid looks terrible, and I think the Droid X is only okay. I love the looks of the Eris, though.

It is indeed a good looking phone, but I'm a big guy, and it is just too small for my big hands and fingers, it looks very effeminate in my hand

You're basically describing the Incredible. It's the closest to what you want, and is almost an exact match.

Got the Eris for the form factor like most everyone else, and like alot of folks, wasn't crazy about the slowness and the dialer drove me nuts. Rooted and OC and I am back to loving my phone all the way around.

I have to disagree. First off the snapdragon is nowhere near as good as the OMAP processor that is in the Droid X and the Incredible does not look like the anything like the Eris IMO.

Many people I know opted for the Moto Droid. Their phones look like crap as the paint has faded and the slider loosens up. My Eris looks like the day I opened it. Not a scratch on the thing. It will certainly hold me over till we get LTE phones.

My Eris has spent the night in the cow pen, has been landed on.....by me, (was in my pocket when I landed on the ground), has taken a scenic trip around 10 acres in the mouth of my dog, has been in all kinds of weather, from the freezing cold to blistering hot, has been subjected to hurricane winds with the accompanying dust, been passed from one person to the next (ooooing and ahhhhing) and the whole time it has been without a screen protector or case.

I love this phone! I don't have the problems that are being reported by others. It just gets used, I run my entire business, (I train horses) outside in the weather from my Eris. It fits in my pocket and is my bestest buddy! It's a beautiful thing

I love the X as far as looks, I hate it when it's in my pocket lol. I also have no real need for a 4.3" screen. If they had made the Eris with a 1gig processor, I'd be in heaven. I'll settle for 768mhz though.

You know how I got rid of mine? Strapped to a ton of bottle rockets on the Fourth in the middle of a golf course. The last images? Of it coming down in flames far, far away. There's a video somewhere...

Fire beats all of that, I guess.

my favorite feature of the eris (one that most other android phones lack) is the physical buttons for send and end. I really hope HTC makes a 2nd generation of this phone with a snapdragon sometime in the future.
