There is an option in cm7 that lets you do that.

yes, just google it. I've done it and I have MIUI. It involved downloading a file, editing it, and saving it on a date directory

If you are on cm7 from Whyzor's reloaded after an early version forward yes. On CM9, if you are on mantera's version, them yes. Other than that, I don't know
