Support Is it possible to Magic Jack/Ooma help in cell calling?

    Is it possible to use Magic Jack/Ooma help in cell calling?

    Thanks for replies to my posting. I find some folks suggests to use Magic Jack/Ooma to make cell calls.

    How does it work? Is it a cell plan alternative?

    Did anyone of this forum use Magic Jack/Ooma to make cell calls?

    MagicJack and Ooma use the internet, i.e. they're VOIP services. If the devices with their apps installed have internet access, either cellular or WiFi, yes it can make calls.

    Thanks for your reply. If I have smartphone without any cell plan. I have WiFi and VOIP apps installed. Will I able to make/receive calls using smartphone?

    Did any one in this forum use VOIP (Magic Jack, Ooma) with Smart Phone?

    I known people use MagicJack on a smart-phone with WiFi only, and Vonage as well, which is another VOIP service. Of course if there's no WiFi, there's no phone calls using these.
