I'm hearing FRG22 is officially in the airwaves, I'm wondering is it okay to install FRG22 if someone already has FRG01B? (I'm inquiring for a friend)

Also has the update.zip leaked for the FRG22?

FRG22 is not officially in any airwaves. FRG01B is the current official OTA update being rolled out. It is the same as last weeks that many pushed to their phones manually.

If you are rooted, you can get the FRG22 leak

So is FRG22 going to rolled out soon or no?

to be honest, i havent noticed a diff between frg22 and frg01b. i was rooted with frg22. just today i went back to 2.1 and installed the official ota frg01b. no difference what so ever.

FRG01B is the only official release we have. No one knows if FRG22 will ever be released or not. Only rooted users can have FRG22 right now. All stock droids can have is the FRG01B release.

Has anyone really pinned down the difference in the two?

If your running FRG01B I see no reason to upgrade to FRG22. If anything if you want a "stock" ROM -- FRG01B would be the way to go IMHO, if you want to stay current with latest unofficial versions probably best to go to one of the more popular custom ROMs.

I thought I read somewhere, there was an issue with FRG22, which is why they're rolling out FRG01B instead.
