Root Is it safe to use lg update tool with cwm installed?

Just curious if I have to reflash stock recovery to use lg update tool to flash to zve. I dont want to brick. I know factory reset has to be done in cwm.if its necessary to flash stock recovery? How do I do I do it?

Its very safe to use the tool only cause its from the two letters that make up the tool lg update tool. And if it isnt no updates it will tell u that . And think this tool has the drivers for your device and the MANUAL that can be downloaded . And think how hard is it to hook and update .
