That's a personal choice, and really depends on how important playing with O is to you.
For myself, no. Largely because Google seem to be apeing Apple's pricing policy: the phone is 8 months old, but they still want to charge the same price as when it was new. For me that pricing policy means it's becoming increasingly poor value, since you are getting older specs (relative to other flagships available at the moment) and a shorter software support lifetime but still paying top dollar. So for me personally waiting for the Pixel 2 makes more sense (hoping that will have specs and design I can get behind).
Of course if you can get a better deal your side of the Pond it may be different.
