IS LG Going to make a Droid Phone Anytime Soon?

Just wondering if LG is going to be releasing a Droid phone anytime soon. I love my Dare and my previous LG phone. I got the Eris and liked it, but the battery life was ridiculous so now I am using my Dare again which will tide me over. If LG would make a true smart phone, I would be happy.

Nothing we know as of yet about them making a droid type alternative , but LG's latest upcoming phone is the LG Etna
