Is my EVO defective?

    I got 2 EVOS saturday. Mine flys super fast and no problems with apps. My wifes EVO isnt quite as fast as mine for some reason and apps crash a lot....she is at work now trying to use pandora and it plays for about 20 seconds and stops working. It has asked her if she wants to force close it twice already today.....Her coworkers have sprint and they are using pandora next to her with no problem so its not coverage.....

    Whats the best way to go about exchanging it?

    Before you try to exchange, I would at least try to do a hard reset.

    Yep, i would try a hard reset first, then try to exchange. they will probably try that at the store before you exchange anyway.

    thanks...that seemed to solve the problem.....Speedtest results prior to resetting was 115kpbs.....after 1.5mbps on 3g.......Pandora doesnt stop anymore either......

    Sorry to sound dumb here , but is a hard reset just turning the phone off then back on.

    Edit: never mind, I looked it up.

    Hard reset where you turn the phone back into its original factory settings. Interestingly it is located under the security menu of the settings.
