Is my monitor on center? [hardware defect?][help]

    EDIT: Thanks for the response. This is merely the back light from your softkeys. Unless anyone has pics to say otherwise, this is closed... :D

    I am on my second droid due to various reasons... but i can't remember on my last one being able to see lines on the bottom of the screen where the backlight shines threw..... is this normal?

    also in this image below note where the shadow from the home++ icons end is the end of the display.. a thin line of black, then backight!

    should i return this one too? is yours like this?

    This is normal. That's not the backlight shining through, it's the LEDs that light up the 4 capacitive buttons.

    im fairly certain they are all like this. I can see back light too. Nice to see your using home++ :)

    i ran out of screen space and didn't want to go to a full theme based replacement. :D been great so far.

    i have the same issue, my phone if i remember correctly is 45/09 build date

    i dismissed this as the light for the soft key buttons after the responses above... unless other people have pics showing different, this is closed...

    It's normal. Every Droid I've seen has it. It's really minor anyway. A slight glowing when you look down at the screen from an extreme angle? Whatevs...
