Is the Airdroid app safe to use on an infected computer?

    As the title suggests, will the phone get infected if I download or upload files via Airdroid on an infected computer? (Be it virus or Malware):thinking:

    Viruses still need the appropriate environment to work, be it x86/x64, ARM, etc, so there should be no problem...

    As said above :) ... but you'd be careful when connecting your phone and upload to another computer because there might computer virus/trojan files on your phone's storage/SD card.

    Sorry I'm not sure what you meant by "environment". Can I ask you to explain what it is?:(

    Usually that means operating system, though there have been examples of more limited self-propagating code that could spread cross-platform if the same app was used (e.g. MS Office macro "viruses", if anyone remembers those - didn't affect the OS but could infect your Word documents if you let it just run any macros it found in a doc).
