Does it have good graphics for applications and gaming purposes?
It's alright. Not the best... but enough for me
Well, I think it's held the test of time IMHO. It doesn't struggle with anything I've thrown at it.
I believe that the Desire is still doing okay generally as a phone, but in terms of graphic performance, Adreno 200 in the Desire is very much outdated. Any phones with Tegra 2, Adreno 205, 220 should outperform the Desire by a wide margin (not to mention the Galaxy S2, the most powerful Android phone IMHO). In fact, the Adreno 200 is now listed in the S1 category by Qualcomm, which is meant to be for entry-level devices.
Don't get me wrong, I am still very happy with my Desire, but things have changed a lot since I bought it.
Yes i see where your coming from still a very good phone then i take it.
