I'm looking to purchase the HTC Desire HD in the U.S and I just can't seem to find it anywhere except for eBay. More specifically, Portland, OR.
Is it possible that it just isn't sold in the U.S, but only in Europe?
    Thanks.

It didn't pass the FCC inspection because it didn't support the US 3g frequencies, only the European ones.

I also want this phone but I guess ill wait and see if HTC releases as US comparable equivelent any time soon.

Rumors are that the Desire HD is coming to the Telus network in Canada in early 2011. Telus runs the same bands as AT&T in the states, so therefore you could buy one outright and have it shipped across the border if you were so inclined...

Sounds like the upcoming HTC Incredible HD is basically just an Americanized version of the Desire HD. That's what I'm understanding anyways.
