Help is the Official 2.2 update messed up?

I just found it kinda choppy so went and snagged the 2.3 gingerbread [ROM] (AOSP GINGERBREAD) ShadowMOD-BR v2.3.2b6 [2010-02-11] - xda-developers

Its well and truly Fubar'd do not touch it.

I did the UK upgrade the other day, And I have to say I can't make my mind up if its worth if or not, and I'll give you a few reasons.

~The in-call sound level is so low its a joke, it feels as if its stuck at 4 in old settings wont go any higher. (only fix is to use the loud speaker) this is the biggest problem to me
~After I upgraded, I lost ALL wifi connectivity. I would find the wifi, but just kept connecting and disconnecting. (if was fine after a master reset).
~It hasn't fixed the random power cycling. (random reboots).
~it keeps freezing when coming out apps/stand by
~there is some lag (but on par with before)
~contact pictures dont snyc with the text messaging and emails.
~Silent option has been removed from the ring volume rocker. you have to go in to settings to turn off vibrate.

So make up you mind if this is worth push notifications, WiFi teathering, flash and app2sd.

If there is no fix soon I'll have to find a good rom.

I'm going to root it, try out the 2.2 /2.3 roms instead
