Is anyone aware of an app that will show me my calendar with text in the month view? Every app I've tried only shows weather there is an appointment on that day or not, but no text.

I'd like to look at my month view and see specifically what I have scheduled on that day. In landscape mode you would think that would be easy to do...

I understand what you are asking for, but that view can be pretty limited even on a big PC screen. Have you noticed the "agenda" view? I find that to be really easy to review upcoming events.

Yeah, do you really think there is enough room to fit text on a full month view? Look at google calendar month view on your PC....you are lucky to get 3 words on a 17" screen and you want text on a 3" phone? I use the agenda view and the calendar app widget 4x2.

I wish the month view would just support colors like the other views do.

Thanks for the tip on the Agenda view -- it is the best option if you are looking further out at your calendar.

I agree that with text the space is tight but I did have a calendar app on the iphone that was able to do this. With twice as many pixels, Doid should have no problem with this..

The Saisuke Calendar looks exactly like the kind of calendar I have been looking for! Any similar app calendars on Android?

i've figured out temporary fix that will allow you to view month view with text, using Google Calendar:

from the phone browser, go to Calendar. it will automatically format for mobile view. scroll down to the bottom of the page and you can select Desktop view. it will bring you a message saying that the phone is not able to run, just click Cancel and you will be brough to the desktop view. using landscape mode you can see your month veiw with text. this is going to hold me over until someone comes up with a calendar app that can do it....

I use pure calendar and would use pure grid if I weren't out of homescreen space. It interfaces with google maps, allows notification warnings, ect, plus is skinnable.

( Pure Grid Calendar inspired by HTC Sense – Android and Me

Do any of the replacement home apps allow keeping all of the other default UI elements while adding extra real estate?

On my Hero the agenda view only shows the next appt that could be a couple days from now. I would like to see an agenda view of appts for the next week or month. Any chance?

I just switch to the moment from HTC Mogul and I had an app called pocket informant....awesome app. I had icons assigned to all my events so when i was in month view, each day had all the little icons. Text is better than the original app but I would prefer icons and way more features to customize.

Anyone know of a way to assign icons to events right on the calendar?

Here are some calendars that show the text in the month like what you are wanting:

    Calendar Pad
    Business Calendar Free
    Jorte
    AA Task
